Is there a way to remove all of the AT&T bloatware on the Inspire (eg: AT&T Nagivator, Blockbuster, Asphalt 5, etc.)?

Do I need to root my phone to do this?

    Thanks

From my understanding, there is no way to do so unless you root it.

Will rooting my phone harm it? Any downside?

Theres a thread on here on the benefits and downsides to rooting. Make sure you understand them before you proceed.

It's probably pretty spotty, but at least he has wifi... International Space Station gets WiFi, 404 errors very likely -- Engadget

5G. The aliens are hooking us up. Speedtest servers are out in the Andromeda Galaxy but still. Pretty damn snappy.
