Old Baseband vs New Baseband?

I'm a little confused about this baseband stuff, my phone is the LG-P509-v10s. Is the v10s my baseband, does that mean I'm on the new baseband?

My phone came with froyo 2.2.2, so I am to understand that means I have the old baseband?

New baseband was included with the Official Gingerbread release for the Optimus One. Since we Optimus T owners never received a Gingerbread update we are bound to roms that use the old baseband (included with Froyo 2.2 - 2.2.2)

You will have to upgrade to the new baseband.

Or just use the old baseband fix...it's over at the other forum. Just Google Optimus one forum and you'll find it...it starts with x. The Optimus one and our Optimus T are essentially the same phone.
