rooted but can't uninstall apps..

I rooted the phone through the steps in a youtube video. I did it by downloading a Z4root.xxx.apk onto the phone.

Right now, I see superuser apps. I tried to uninstall the stock apps from T-mobiles but I can't. I can't uninstall any of the stock apps.

Any suggestions ?

I'm not sure what method you are trying. Many folks use Titanium Backup to freeze first (for testing) then remove.


I installed a custom recovery, made a backup, then used adb to remount rw and deleted the apps manually. Mem isn't shown freed, IIRC, until Dalvik cache is cleared.
