Aggressive Memory Management

Is it just me or isbthe LG G7 really aggressive in their memory management? I'll have an app open, switch to another app and 10 min later switch back and the app has restarted.

For me, it feels just the opposite. I'll go back to an app a while later, expecting it to refresh, and it hasn't so I need to manually do it. I mostly use Chrome, YT, etc. I always make sure to manually refresh so I'm seeing the newest page.
In guessing our settings are different. I have a lot of stuff turned off and permissions denied.
