So I'm new to Android.
Don't completely have a Android device yet.
I'm still on Sprint currently with the Palm Pre.
Getting REALLY sick of it.
This Christmas I'm switching to Verizon and getting the Droid X.
Just thought I'd join this site a bit early to learn more about the device, so I'm not a total noob when I get the new phone.

My name is not important, but I'm 19 and live in California.
And I'm big into hacking things, computers, and all that techy stuff.
I heard Android is "open" source just like the Pre, so I figure it should be fun.

Welcome. Maybe by the time you have your new toy, you'll be building some custom ROM's I had the X and it was a great phone. We have some really helpful members in the X forums too.
