Android 13 UI 5.0 Beta

Samsung have begun rolling out the beta test version of Android 13 UI 5.0 to selected members on the unlocked international devices, F936B. (Mine is on CSC code EUX for Europe)

Check in your Samsung Members app to see if you have received an invitation to the Beta firmware.

Once you have enrolled in the Beta programme and been accepted, the Beta firmware will be downloaded to your phone.

Download = 2,870.44MB

Software Information

WARNING: As per previous Beta releases, the firmware will not pass the SafetyNet test and therefore Google Pay and other apps that rely on this will not work.

I have to say that to me Samsung is really impressive with their updating of their phones. At the beginning of this month the rambling was about the Fold 4 being stuck on July security patch. Now it is 2 weeks later and I've had 2 updates and now the One UI beta is downloading today.

I just hope the beta is great with the already great battery life. I'm about to find out.

I am on unlocked T-Mobile, received the software yesterday morning. I find the update very good but a little choppy on the 120hz scrolling.

I've had the phone for a week so I can really judge yet but battery life is better than what my Note 20 Ultra got.

I haven't had my sim in my fold4 as I have been using my p7p primarily, however I have just gotten 2days 20 hours with 2.5 hours screen on time and 38% left.
Eventually I will throw my sim back in and really test it, but standby seems to be decent at least on WiFi.
