Just sharing my issues. Fingerprint reader stops working. I have to use my pin or press the power button to use face unlock. A reboot didn't help.
Home screen is missing, swiping left goes to my next page. Swiping right opens Google. But home screen is blank. Sometimes home screen is present but home screen dock isn't there.

If you know a fix for these issues, please let me know. I just started having these issues today

Sorry to hear that. To me, that sounds like backup all data & factory reset time. I'm not sure there is much else you can do.

I've been on the beta program for a while now. There has been too many bugs for me to use it day to day. How do I opt out and return to the public version of the os? I know there was a link and I took a screenshot of it but I don't know where it went. Does it factory reset my device?

I'm one beta 5.1 with my 7 pro. And if I use Instagram for more than 15 minutes the device starts to get hot and show down a lot. Plus battery life for me is worse.

Just to add. 5g is causing my phone to really overheat. Plus 5g speed is non existent. 4g and 3g and both faster than 5g by some margin.

Hopefully with the 5g fix in the 5.2 update I'll see a big improvement in how 5g performs today. And hopefully it's back working as it should be.

I'm still having little to no connection on 5g after the latest 5.2 update!
Are you actually or are you going by the bar graph on your status bar. Here is my speeds even though it shows 1 bar

I'm getting an exclamation mark after 5g in the notification bar. Or it will show 5g and a good signal. Bit pages loading on Chrome just stall at the start of apps that use data can't function. When I switch to 4g. Everything works again. 5g on my network (Vodafone Ireland) used the lower bandwidth 800 .
As much as a pain it is to factory reset and set the whole phone up again. I'm seriously considering uninstalling beta at the moment

This was 4g less than 4 minutes before the 5g speed test.

Did you have to wipe?
I did have to a wipe. I didn't stay on 14 as I'm sure a stable version will be arriving in the next week or two. I have reported the issue with beta tracker. It Priority P2, Severity S0. So google are taking it as a serious enough.

Wiping is what's keeping me on the beta. If I have to wipe, I'm just gonna root and flash a ROM. Haven't felt the need to just yet

Using the Volume down toggle to bring the volume all the way down to silent doesn't bring up the options for Vibrate and/or to mute Notifications and Calls anymore. Has anyone else noticed this?
