Android Wear 2 Tethering

Hi!

This is a question for anyone having an Android Wear 2 device (actually, better if it is a Huawei Watch Sport or an LG Watch Sport).

If you put a sim in your smartwatch, can you create a wifi hotspot with it?
I'm interested in doing the same tethering i do with a smartphone, but with a smartwatch.

Is it possible?

Sounds like a cool thing to be able to do in a pinch but man, battery life already sucks on Smartwatches, I can't imagine doing a hotspot on a watch for a significant amount of time to make it worthwhile to even bother.

Sorry to revive old thread, but has there been any movement on this? I know it will drain the battery quickly, but if you are in a tight spot and your watch has connectivity when your phone doesn't, it would be nice to have.

Plus, the Gear 3 can do this if I am not mistaken.
