Anyone planning to upgrade to S7 or S7+?

Am planning to upgrade to regular S7 if samsung gives good trade-in deal for my Tab S4. I want to keep it as portable as Tab S4 and so not looking at S7+.

I'm considering the same trade but the regular S7 doesn't have an AMOLED screen though.

How has the standby battery life been on your S4? --Mine is so bad that I have to put it on Airplane mode to have any standby time at all.

I pre ordered the S7 plus. Supposed to arrive on 21st so when the others are due to arrive. Will be a busy Friday

I'm still thinking about it. My S4 is still running great so the expense is hard for me to justify right now.

Yes, S7 is not amoled but that's a tradeoff for me as I don't want a bigger one for my needs. But will see if samsung will offer 8gb version in S7 and will go for it as 4gb on my S4 is the drag I see.

Standby time on my S4 is decent and will lose around 7% overnight. Motivating factors to upgrade are RAM, missing fps and missing edge panel which will make multitasking easier (not sure why samsung abandoned it for S4). Camera on landscape mode is also ideal for webex calls.

It's only reservation today. Actual purchase starts Sept 2nd. Not sure about shipment date.

I believe I'm happier with less of their updates. The last Android update is causing a lot of problems on phones and tablets.

With latest notes update, S-notes became more powerful and feature rich. Updates are for better in my opinion.
