Now that the S20 has been out for over 3 months, Verizon is releasing their version of the S20 on June 5th. Pre-orders are available. I know 5G technology is not ready for prime-time. I just wanted to see if I was alone with my pre-order.
Samsung had a great offer in conjunction with Verizon. So I pre ordered the white s20 through Samsun.com. I purchased a used Pixel 3 from a friend for $70. That phone will get me a $400 trade in value with Samsung. That brings the price to $599. Verizon is giving $50 off of phone and an additional $150 device credit over 24 months. In total that brings the phone to $399+tax. I paid the $399+tax as a down payment because I sold my Verizon S20 plus ( originally purchased on Swappa.com used for $720) to get this phone because of the S20 models this phone gives the best specs in a small Android phone.
I look forward to keeping this phone for the next couple of years and maybe 5g mmwave will be readily available by then.
