App drawer issue

I accidently clicked the three dots and hit show keyboard when flicking up in the app drawer. I got it to stop showing keyboard automatically but now my hamburger doesn't show anymore like the pick. Any idea how to get it back?

Honestly, I don't ever recall seeing the hamburger menu at the top on my P6 or my P8P. Although it could have been there in the past and never used it.
Any chance there was an update mixed in to either play services or the Google app at some point in between?

Hmmm. Maybe I am mistaken that it was there. When I flicked upward to open app drawer I thought that's what I accidently hit when a drop down menu appeared with two options, always show keyboard and preferences. Look at the vid and it shows the menu I'm referring too. This just happened yesterday. No update done.
