auto retrieve mms problems

I have droid razr hd android version 4.1.2

I'm using GO SMS Pro. I have auto retrieve mms on in the stock app. However, whenever I receive pictures, I have to manually turn on my mobile data and click download on the image in order to see it. When I used my HTC Incredible S, whenever I got an mms, it would automatically turn on my data (H+ shows up by itself) and I can see the picture right away in the go sms interface.

If you have your data turned off, then yes you'll have to turn it on before you can get pics.

But what I'm trying to say is, on my old phone, it would automatically turn on the data to receive the picture.

There is no need to turn your data off when your on wifi. It will automatically switch over to data for a second to download the mms. If you manually turn data off then you will have to turn it on every time you want to download an mms.

Please read carefully the question.
What Keirt Aman means is Data connection will AUTO turn on when a MMS arrives and AUTO turn off when MMS downloaded.
If you use HTC phone, you will get the point.
