Battery drain issues

It takes a lot of juice for Google to keep track of you and your activities... and unfortunately you can't completely turn it all off. But that still seems a little excessive

Today the only app using excessive battery is Google Play services. So far it's been running about 5 hours in the background. But, my battery is holding steady. So far so good.

Probably. Hopefully the next update fixes it, but I bet that won't happen.

Usually Google pretty good with those apps and address them quickly

I hope so! Having to carry a charger and cable around with me is super inconvenient.
