Battery Use Question

Is there a reason why my Razr always has "Android OS" as one of the top battery drains? I don't recall seeing that very much on my DX. #1 was always the display. right now, I'm sitting at 30%, 8.5 hours off charger. Voice Calls 26%, Android OS 25%, Display 20%, etc.

I notice this both on 3g and 4g (which I'm on right now), though I can typically get 20+ hours on 3g vs 8.5 hours to get to the same point in the battery.

It's not just on the RAZR. Bionic has this also. No one seems to know and the % is all over the place from charge cycle to charge cycle.

Same problem here. Never had the issue with my Atrix. I've tried everything to fix it including multiple factory resets, but never have been able to solve it. It even happens with a clean factory reset and no apps installed, so it has to be an issue with the OS. I've just learned to live with it.

I've never had anything more than 8% until now I'm having up to 15% on android os. It is the android operating system that us being used so it should show up.

My display is 48%. Android OS is at 10%. I'm gonna have to keep an eye on this.
