Best stable rom?

Hi,

I'm looking for a rom that is for my friends nook color and I know nothing about the good and bad roms that are out there for the nook. All I'm looking for is a stable rom (if there is any) so that he doesn't have to be running back to me when something isn't right.

CM7. It is by far the best rom for the Nook.

I second that. Very stable just make sure to address the sleep of death issue (see other posts) with the updated kernel.

I find the mirage kang build of cm7 to be the best for me. The most recent build is the most stable ever. I just set wifi to go off when the screen is off and have green power do the same and it has been good for a while.

[GUIDE] mr72's CM 7.10 (or 7.20) NC setup - xda-developers

to install this ROM.

You'll want a NC for yourself after you use it.
