About a week ago, my Google Chat quit working. It had happened before, and I was always able to immediately get it turned back on. This time it didn't ever get past the "trying to verify number" stage. This morning, my S10+ updated, and now I'm getting the "not available for your carrier" message. You'd think a 2-year-old flagship on a major carrier like AT&T would have access to something so basic. But I guess I've been using Android long enough to realize that's a fairly laughable concept. What a frustrating ecosystem this is.
