Current security update?

I switched my S21+ fromT-mobil to Xfinity about 5 weeks ago...My current security patch says its current at July 1 update....Do the updates come from the provider? If so I think something isn't right with my phone's settings with Xfinity

Yes it comes from the provider if you have a carrier sim unlock device, if you have Samsung unbranded it's from Samsung.

Have you manually checked for a software update? Or are you waiting on it to automatically send?

I check almost every day..T-Mobil unlocked my phone before I Had Xfinity swap sim cards and transfered to Xfinity..

Xfinity uses Verizon so probably the problem, have you checked PC smart switch? You need to enable in settings preference of it updates
If not probably going need Odin to flash

Be good time since your device is unlocked to go on the Samsung unlocked firmware and get updates directly from Samsung
