you could try nameless v1. i reverted back to nameless v1 from reborn v2.1 bc of battery and lagging issues, and works like a champ.

i was using thunderom, but i missed the app launcher bar thingy from nameless/reborn, so i went to v1.

i miss the power control widget built into the drag down tool bar thing, but i can live without it since my battery life is back to awesome.

Why do you like Thunder more than Reborn??

I agree with ThundeRom being better. Perhaps it's the personalizing that went into it - being that ThundeRom was both KSmith's and Beezy's prefs - maybe their preferences happened to make a better overall setup (they probably just had the right ingredients).

still a little confused about custom recovery and installing.. is there a way to just install it from cmd?

STOP AND READ THE ENTIRE 1st POST AND THIS POST.
Prior to posting, please ensure you have read the rules for ROMs. Following these is not an option, it's a requirement both for developers and people using developers products. There will be no exceptions.

Known Bugs specific to this ROM:
PLEASE DO NOT REPORT GENEREAL ANDROID/SPRINT/FROYO/LG BUGS.
- None that we introduced.

How to flash ROM
Download ROM, do not open it, do not extract it, do not rename it.
place on root of sdcard
boot into recovery
make a nadroid backup
wipe data,cache,dalvik
flash rom
reboot

The download link for the ROM can be found in post #3. We moved it in hopes more people would read post #1 and #2 prior to flashing

To use Wireless Tethering (AP)
1) Long press any blank spot on your screen, select widget, select Hotspot Widget. From now on clicking this will create a WiFi hotspot.

Reporting an issue
If you identify an issue that's not already listed in the bugs section above please do the following. If you have not done the following we will simply point you back to this section so please help us help you.
1) If you are running a custom kernel do not report the issue until you have gone back to our kernel and can duplicate the issue.
2) If you are running a task killer do not report the issue until you have removed the task killer, rebooted your phone, and can duplicate the issue.
3) If you are having an issue with any app that you download from the market or any other source, please do not report the issue to us. There is a very good chance this has little or nothing to do with the ROM and everything to do with that specific app. You should check to see if others on similar ROM's are having an issue with that app. Check to see if the app dev has a bugs list. check to see if the app is compatible with your version of Android. Email the app dev to see if they are aware. Uninstall and reinstall the app. etc... etc... etc...
4) If you are not on our newest version linked in post #3 AND did not do a full wipe prior to flashing, do not report an issue until you have done so.
5) Do not use this thread as your personal help forum. We understand you may have questions about things that are unrelated to the ROM but you want them answered quick so you post them in here. These types of questions will be moved out of the thread, which requires us to manually intervene, please save us the time. You will notice that the same people who are active in this thread are active in every Optimus thread. Post your question outside of this thread, in the general area for assistance.
EX: How do I mount or unmount my SD card when i connect to a PC? This is a legitimate question, but has nothing to do with the ROM.
6) Duplicate the issue. If you don't know how it happened or how to do it again, neither do we lol
7) Have you rebooted your phone and after reboot can duplicate the issue? If not please do.
8) Post very detailed instructions on how to duplicate the issue, for example:
-Click Menu > Settings > Display
-Un-check "Auto Rotate Screen" then the phone punches me in the face

To allow all buttons to wake screen flash the attached zip in recovery,no need to wipe anything.

First.. Thank you for this ROM. I love it..

But for some reason I can not get 3g working and would appreciate any help. The back story..

I have an LG Optimus V that had a stock baseband of VC and that has been rooted and running custom recoveries and ROMS for some time. I came across TR and wanted to try it. I understood it needed the VD baseband update to function properly but I flashed it anyways to see if I liked the rom and to see if I wanted to update my baseband. Flashing TR 1.8 knocked out my 3G (not to my surprise). I wanted TR so I got my hands on a .kdz package to flash my phone to a stock Sprint Optimus S with the VD baseband. After that there was still no 3G but I was on the VD baseband by checking my phone info. I re-rooted, reinstalled a custom recovery, and flashed Thunderom 1.8 and wiped all data but I still have no 3G after sticking to the rules of flashing this rom. Could anyone please help me get my 3G back as I am lost..

Sorry to bump such an old thread, but I was wondering if anyone had run both the latest version of ThunderROM and also the latest of Reborn? If so, in your experience did ThunderROM give you better battery life than Reborn? I am running Reborn and I easily get through a whole day on one charge, but I was just curious as I saw others saying they got as much as twice the battery life running Thunder compared to Reborn (but I think they were earlier versions of Reborn). If battery life would be a substantial improvement I would maybe switch to ThunderROM, but I'd hate to go through flashing and re-downloading all my apps and re-doing my custom settings for zero gain. Thanks!

Edit: perhaps a data wipe too, afraid to wipe data since the zip installed something to data, don't know if its because of old /data or because of bug but Voice Search force closes and does not work.

just download add free from the market/playstore its free and it works fairly well even disables ads on my browser pretty freakin awsome.
