Dialing

Anyone else tried dialing from within Google messages? It normally will automatically dial out, but on the 7 pro it's populating the number and you still have to click to call.

Are you talking about tapping the phone icon at the top of a message thread, or are you talking about tapping a phone number link within a message? On my 6 Pro, the former will dial automatically, but the latter will just populate the Phone app with the number.

Your 6 Pro doesn't dial automatically if you tap the Phone icon at the top of the screen when a message thread is open? Mine does.

Just to be sure, @cdemot02, does your Messages app have Phone permission turned on?

No it will pull up the number on the dialer pad to tap to call
