Email is buggy on Tablet A. Gmail and Outlook. Can I uninstall and reinstall to solve problems?

[Android Central Question]

Email loses/deletes emails and they do not go to deleted/trash folder. My first impulse is to delete the email programs and reinstall. I s this possible on an Android tablet and would it be my best solution? Currently have gmail and outlook linked.
