Im trying to get rid of incorrect email addresses in my gmail on my samsung tablet and phone.

Im trying to get rid of incorrect email addresses in my gmail on my samsung tablet and phone. I can remove them on the PC but when i go to send an email through my mobile devices, the incorrect emails keep showing up as well as the correct ones. How the hell can I get them off my mobile platforms as I am constantly sending emails from these more than my Pc.
I read a heap of posts to say clear the cache which I have done over and over, and another post said to toggle contacts OFF in the google app in settings. The problem is, my google app is greyed out and I m unable to access it. Anyone with a clue of whats happening please help.

Go to settings>account and back>account and delete the email
