Every few minutes getting notice "couldnt sign in " on my android cell phone.
I followed instructions to change password but it didn't seem to accept. Nevertheless, gmail on cell phone is there but erratic; I can receive messages but many sent mails go into outbox . Also Chrome seems to have disappeared.
My Android tablet seems fine.
Meanwhile my Windows laptop takes me straight in to my gmail account. Of course the the saved sign-in password must be an earlier one so won't now match the presumed changed p/word on my cell.
I'm reluctant to try anything else without knowing the best course of action, going round in circles here! Hope you can help.
