Facebook 2fa issue

[Android Central Question]

I got a new cell phone & installed Facebook. It asked me to verify myself so I chose text the code to me. I put in the code, fb said thanks, then it goes right back to the verification page. I've tried having it sent to my email, I've verified w my past comments and also through my Gmail address. All of them go back to the verification page. I can see on fb through my laptop that I'm not hacked, it's just not recognizing my new phone. I've uninstalled/reinstalled, checked for updates and nothing. I wrote to Facebook but I doubt they'll get back to me.
Any help is appreciated.

Which device?
Youll have to wait and see what Facebook says , does it happen in the web browser also? Try Facebook lite from play store? Make sure your not using a VPN .
