Factory reset on Asus memo 10 does nothing to correct boot sequence

[AC Question]

Got to the reset menu and selected factory reset. Screen began the same flashing of colors. when colors stopped, I tried to restart, with no difference in the results

Welcome to Android Central! The firmware might be corrupt, or it might be a problem with the hardware. Doing a factory reset in these situations won't help.
