flyer voice calls and data

I recently purchased a p510e from mobilecityonline and enabled the gsm call abilty of the flyer. I am on ATT and I have a some with voice and data from my dell streak. I switched the some and ATT blocked my data but not my voice capability. The customer service rep saidI had to choose between data and voice. So I chose voice. What do you think about that? I can have one or the other but not both.

i received my galaxy tab 7+ with phone functions out of the box in last week so i will be selling my flyer i will miss her.
