My screen will not turn off. Ever. Not during a timeout (tried changing times), or after pressing the power button. This is a sudden thing and it's absolutely driving me mad.

If I leave it alone, the screen dims for the timeout, screen goes blank, and them BAM! Start again. If I press the power button, the screen goes blank and them BAM! Bright as hell.

I've done a factory reset and am still experiencing the issue as we speak. The strange thing is, it behaves perfectly normal while plugged in.

I've tried disabling every single service I can in developer tools, I've even turned on the pressure sensor tracker to see if it thinks something is touching it.

Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Welcome to Android Central! And it also persists in Safe Mode?

Any problems with the hardware buttons? Do any of them seem a bit sticky, or do you notice your volume adjusting itself without you pressing anything?
