Galaxy j3 orbit storage>clear data>google

Question, my galaxy j3 orbit has 2 apps i want to clear the data to just refresh them.

1. google
2. google play service

both of these apps say they are taking close to 700MB of memory on my internal drive. I would like to hit the "clear data" button under settings>apps>storage to free up some space.

clearing these apps, is it going to brick my phone?

Welcome to Android Central! It won't brick the phone, but be aware that app data will reaccumulate quickly for those apps -- it's just part of normal operation.
