Headphones don't work with calls or facetime

Same headphones I have been using worked. One morning it just stopped. I can hear the caller but they can't hear me

Welcome to Android Central! Does the mic work when you use the headphones on other devices? If not, then the headphone mic has probably failed. Get a new pair of headphones (or, if your current ones were expensive and still under warranty, contact the manufacturer).
