Headphones stopped playing audio but work for calls

[Android Central Question]

I have two Jabra 65t headphones that I rotate between. I have never had any issues before. I had my right earbud in and was charging the case and other earbud as well as the other Jabra set when the audio stopped coming through the headphone and out of the speaker. I have a one plus 8t and when I check the audio it shows speaker but volume doesn't change until I let it sit a moment but then it shows speaker even after I switch it over to the headphones. I tried my other set of headphones and am having the same problem. I have reset the phone, checked everything I can find. Paired unpaired repaired to no avail. What is going on?

Welcome to Android Central! And did you also try resetting the earbuds like I suggested above?
