How do I download apps directly onto my SD card

I am using the Moto g 3rd gen a d the storage on this thing is second to none but I can't seem to be able to download apps directly onto my SD card, I am using the latest version of android (6.0 or something) and I can't find any way to change it so that if any apps download onto my SD card

Welcome to Android Central! That's an Android limitation--apps have to download and install directly to the Internal Storage first. After that, if the phone allows it, you can try moving a portion of the app (never the whole thing) to the SD card. Not all phones allow this, and not all apps can do it either.
