Before my update to 8.0, I got my media controllers on the cover lock screen. That is, the smaller lock screen that appears when the phone's cover is down. Now the only music controller I can get is the built-in android one that is accesible through facewidgets, and it is completely worthless.
If I use it to pause the music, the controller disappears! I then have to unlock my phone in order to resume listening.
Not to mention it is missing a lot of features (it only has the pause, last song and next song options).
Is there any way to get the media controllers from the specific apps back on the lock screen like I had before, instead of this useless thing? Basically how the lock screen used to be in android 7 would be nice.
