Go into your Contacts or People App and select the contact you want to edit. Open that contact and edit it. There should be an option to select ringtone. Select that, and scroll through the list of ringtones. There should be something at the top that says "none". See if that is what you are looking for.

I looked yesterday as well. There was no 'none' on my Note 3 contact ringtones, so it may not be possible.
