How to bypass time lockout

[AC Question]

I have a S7 Edge and it has issues with the fingerprint scanner. SO i use the finger print or a pattern i've seemed to get myself locked out for 60mins. I android center won't work because there is already a screen lock on, is there a way to bypass this lockout? I would think it to be completely ridiculous not to give users a way to bypass this if it is self inflicted, like in my case.
