How to find a serial number for galaxy s8+cause i lost it and the police needs to track it down

Kindly advise on how to get my serial number for my phone was stolen a month ago and have no details whatsoever

I have no details about it but the police want to track down the robbers who could have taken it

Unless you registered the unit with Samsung or have a copy of your receipt, the most you can get online is your IMEI (which the police should still be able to use to identify the device); you can do that through Samsung's SmartThings Find (https://smartthingsfind.samsung.com/) and signing into your Samsung Account.

This, however, does require you to have signed into a Samsung account on the phone at some point and the Find My Phone option was not disabled.

Welcome to Android Central! Do you still have the box the phone came in? This is why I never throw those boxes away -- they typically have important information like the IMEI and S/N, usually on a sticker.
