How to stop every email from getting added to contacts?

It seems that every email I send out on my phone gets added to my contacts. My contacts list is getting crammed with email addresses that I don't care anything about. How can I stop this?

Sorry, I don't have an answer for you. I'd also like to know if there's a way. Just dropped by to say that you can choose not to display email addresses on you contact list though.
