Android Central Question

Hi

I've had my Huawei P30 for a few months now and it's worked perfectly but suddenly mid-song my audio port stopped working with any earphones and now audio will only play out of the phone speaker regardless of the earphones being plugged in or not.

I've tried about 3 different pairs of earphones/headphones and nothing has worked? I've also tried the earphones other devices such as my laptop and my iPod and they seem to work fine.

Any idea if I could have unintentionally changed something in the phone settings to cause this to happen?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Welcome to Android Central! Make sure the jack is clear of debris -- use a can of compressed air to blow it out, and a toothpick to root around. Also see if it persists in Safe Mode: https://www.hardreset.info/devices/huawei/huawei-p30/safe-mode/

If it still doesn't work, then the jack might have to be replaced. Is the phone still under warranty?
