Many, many years ago, I had a KDDI (unknown model) phone that I used to use to play games.
One day, I tried dropping it to see if the screen would break, but it did not! It had a border and it was not traveling the shock to the screen to break it. However, it affected the board. It started graphical glitches, random reboots and horrible screeching sounds every time it rebooted.
At one point, it was dead. It was toast. It was not turning on. This phone, is completely dead as I severely damaged the board during the drops.
It lives to rest in one of our drawers, giving me fond memories.
To this day, it still lives there, in our drawer.
