i can't sign in my j7 2016

[Android Central Question]

after selecting wifi then agree all it take me to checking connection and then checking software update then it shows me to sign in. i gave my email id and password and click to sign in then it shows me checking info continuously and i stuck in it.please help me

Welcome to Android Central! Is it asking for the Google account and password of the account that was originally associated with the phone? Has this always been your phone, or did you get it from somebody else?
