I forgot my password (read description)

[Android Central Question]

I own an Android tablet. Few months ago my brother guessed screen pattern so I changed it...and forgot since I don’t use that tablet very often.

This tablet is registered under my google account.
No wipe/factory reset function (dual boot)

What we have there:
Android 5.0
Usb debug enabled and PC authorised to access this device
ADB works, shell with root access.
rm data system whateverthatis .key and method with SQL doesn’t work bc there is no such files to begin with.

I pulled data from it but I want to preserve apps and stuff.
