...build an S5, what would you put into it? (Cherry picking allowed)

-Reduce Screen size to about 4.8
-Use onscreen softkeys, like the Nexus
-Borrow the Moto X Processor
-Remove TW
-Remove the SD card
-Keep the removable battery, but borrow Moto's.
-Back plate be made of carbon fiber
-Similar speaker design of HTC One

Yeah, I'd be fine with this. I like the size of my S4, but I certainly don't want it to get any bigger...I have to carry this thing around with me!

-Use onscreen softkeys, like the Nexus
Definitely.

-Borrow the Moto X Processor
I'm not familiar enough with the Moto X hardware to comment...but none the less, I'm sure the processor will be upgraded.

-Remove TW
Not gonna happen. Would I put this on my own wishlist? I'm not sure...I do like vanilla Google Android in it's current state, but I don't really have any issues with the current TW either. I'm actually running a GE ROM on my S4 now, so obviously I probably lean that way, but at the same time if I felt that strongly about not having TW, the Galaxy S series is probably not the phone for me.

-Remove the SD card
Absolutely...but make 32GB the standard base model, and offer a 64GB as well...don't mess with 16GB at all. Offering 128GB would be even better. And don't charge me an extra $100 for each bump in storage.

-Keep the removable battery, but borrow Moto's.
Again, lack of experience with Moto's prevents a comment on this, but yeah, keep removable battery.

-Back plate be made of carbon fiber
I generally rock a case, so I'm usually not too concerned about this...but it doesn't sound like a bad idea.

-Similar speaker design of HTC One
Sure...why not!

I wouldn't mind it kept at 5" screen
I Prefer the home button, on-screen buttons take up screen space.
I like touchwiz, but they should lighten it up a bit.
Yes keep the battery removable, but make it bigger
Make it 32 or 64 gb storage, but keep the sd card slot for more storage, I don't use the cloud and like to keep stuff on my phone(backed up to my pc)

1) Keep the screen at 5 inches. As long as they remove the hardware buttons and use soft keys, the bottom bezel should be smaller, that's really the only reason I can't reach the top right corner
2) Get rid of 16 GB options and have 32/64GB internal. No SD cards
3) Get rid of the "slab" feel of the tablet. Make it more like the HTC One and Moto X
4) Keep removable battery but make it over 3,000 man
5) Get rid of TW and the cheap plastic

Sent from my Galaxy S4 running SlimKat 4.4.2

Revamp TouchWiz to be more modern and "with the times"

S800 is fine, and if the idea is to allow the cool breathing stuff then just use the co-processors that are on the S800.

display quality needs to go up

camera needs to be improved for better lowlight performance.

it also needs to not look like all the other S-devices

My wish list would start with removing all of the redundant apps. No duplicate browser, calendar, e-mail app, s-voice, get rid of all of it. Then, get rid of that (Grrrrrr) stupid button on the front. Don't really mind off-screen buttons if you really want that extra .2" of space, do it like the Droid Maxx: capacitive in the correct configuration and no physical buttons. Aside from that, they can keep TouchWiz just give it a major update to catch up with Google's design standards from 2012 or later, debloat substantially and maybe do it as a launcher instead of a completely different code base.
