Issue closing and switching apps that are open

Hi,
after updating my OnePlus 11 to Android 14 I have been getting this pop up everytime I try to close an app or swipe to another active app. It claims these apps are displayed over other apps and due might not react to my command. However in my setting they are not allowed to be displayed over other appa. The pop up appears for each one of my apps everytime...

Im desperate for a fix because this makes using apps and switching between them very tacky, slow and annoying.

Welcome to Android Central! Does this also happen with stock/preinstalled apps, or only 3rd party apps? If it happens with stock apps, see if it also occurs in Safe Mode: https://www.hardreset.info/devices/oneplus/oneplus-11/safe-mode/

If it goes away in Safe Mode, then something you installed is likely causing the problem. You may have to uninstall apps one by one until the problem goes away.

If it persists in Safe Mode, then it sounds like a glitch in OnePlus's Android 14 update. (It's most specific to OnePlus, since I don't see this behavior at all on my Pixel 7 Pro.) Contact OnePlus support directly: https://service.oneplus.com/us
