issues with phone calls

I don't make many actual calls but did this week. Noticed each time almost immediately the other party saying hello? hello? I can't hear you, you're breaking up. This is very frustrating. Each time I've had a good signal and now I'm worried If there's an issue with the phone? What kind of an issue would only affect Non wifi phone calls?

Are you on a 5G network? Some 5G networks have choppy reception, depending on the carrier and the region.

Does this happen in Safe Mode as well? www.verizon.com/support/knowledge-b...nd hold the,mode' prompt appears then release.

no idea about safe mode... yes I believe it said 5G however the nearest 5G tower is really far from my area. maybe I should get off global and go back on cdma?

Hi, yeah give that a try , also reset network sometimes needed when things go wonky out of no where.

My suggestion was to try Safe Mode to see if the problem persists then. If it doesn't, then something you installed may be causing the problem. If it persists, then you know the problem lies with the network, the firmware, or the hardware.
