You need the removable battery if you want to keep a phone for long.

The battery is the only hardware component in a phone that is going to noticeablely degrade under normal usage in 20+ months. You need to be able to replace the battery if you want to keep a phone for long.

Or simply get a portable charger to charge on the way, once the battery starts to hold little charge?

The V20 is Great. The Nexus 6P is right up there as well. For me I prefer those two. I like my s7Edge but it's just too small for me. I'll probably use my jump and get the bigger (if they offer 2 size) S8 or the Note 8 when it's out

And if your bank supports Samsung Pay you will love that feature

Can't tell you how much I hate Samsung pay on my Phone.
And I have called and emailed Samsung telling them this too.

They don't care.
We buy phones and can't take the apps off that we don't want.
