My Nexus 7 wont open. it gets stuck on the GOOGLE welcome page

My Nexus 7 2nd gen isnt opening anymore
it gets stuck on the GOOGLE welcome page. also if I do the (hold volume down and pwoer button ) and press Recovery mode like what the nexus trouble shoot said. nothing is happening

also its still in the LOCK STATE...what can i do to unlock it:''(

please help

If I select Recovery mode.instead of redirecting me to the bot with the no command caption..it just redirects me back to GOOGLE .. why?

Lollipop update killed it, just like the rest of ours and more to come. Hope it's under warranty still. Check the Google product forum nexus 7 page for ideas.

Yup, sadly you are not alone. More sadly, there's likely not a fix short of replacing the motherboard (which ASUS will charge you a bit over $200 to do). I'm waiting on a 16gb used motherboard I ordered via Amazon.
