Need SIM information

I just broke my note 3 and was able to get a replacement (not from insurance) until I get paid to pay the deductible. However, the phone I have now isn't compatible with the SIM from the note 3. Is there any way, other than placing the sim into another phone to get the data from that sim?

It can be read with a card reader. But if you can go to a store by your service provider they can read and transfer the data to a new SIM.
