Question no sound recorded on google camera videos, Honor 50

Hi everyone.

I have a Honor 50, fully updated, which does NOT record sound just from the google camera videos.
If I record a video from instagram or whatsapp it works well.
Camera app has microphone permissions. Tried to clean cache and data but still.

Any help? Thanks in advance

Welcome to Android Central! Are you saying that you installed Google's own Camera app from the Play Store or elsewhere, and are using that instead of the stock Camera app from Honor?

It seems like a specific issue with the Google Camera app on your Honor 50. Since other apps record sound fine, the problem might be app-related. You can try reinstalling the Google Camera app or check if there are any updates available for it.

No updates available.
And I cannot reinstall, just can disable or stop the app.

It's still unclear to me if this is the Google Camera app, or a stock Honor Camera app. That fact that you can only disable it indicates that it's a stock app. From what I found on the web, the stock Camera app on the Honor 50 is not the one from Google, but there's some sort of Google Camera mod that you can install. Can you clarify what you did?

But if it were manually installed, there should be an Uninstall option. If there's only a Disable option, then it's preinstalled/stock.

Yeah that I'm not sure when Huawei had stop Google apps on their devices and which device
