NOOB ? - Post Root Updates

Had someone root my phone about a month ago... Now i'm getting notice from Sprint that there are updates to my phone... Can I update to that or no?

Never accept updates unless you want to lose root. Like the other poster said, just flash a Gingerbread ROM.

Thanks for the help guys! I consider myself pretty technical, but haven't done this yet... So can any of you suggest which post is the best to learn how to flash?

Heres a good guide about flashing and backing up ROMs. http://forums.androidcentral.com/th...-backup-restore-install-roms-thunderbolt.html its written for the thunderbolt but its the same process
