You can also get 60W with 12V5A. Cars have 12V systems.
You missed my point there, which was that the 60W cables have a max rated Amperage of 3 Amps.

Of course there are other ways to get to 60 Watts, but the point is that you can't pull 5A through a 3A cable. Well, unless your goal is to start a fire. So again, to charge at 12V5A you need a 100W cable...

My Sammy 45W charger degraded my S22U's battery the 2 years I had it. I only used the 45W charger but Def heated up my phone. I will be using my 15W wireless charger and 25W charger with my S24U only. Hope to see better results.

"If" heat is the culprit to battery degradation, as many state that it is, then wireless charging is NOT the way to go as it produces heat at any level. You may not feel it so much if the phone is in a relatively thick rubberized, insulating case! Lower wattage for sure is best and wired charging produces virtually no heat. OnePlus does it right. Whatever they do to rapid charge (two batteries helps) their phones do not get hot when charging from zero to 100 in far less than an hour!
If Samsung wants to copy something they should copy OnePlus in their method of rapid charging! YMMV

They use high amperage charging, which lets them offset heat to the adapter. It is a good solution for fast cool charging, but it isn't PD compliant. Samsung kinda did copy it though, as mentioned above, their 45W charging is relatively high amperage, low voltage.

5W wireless charging produces a negligible amount of heat, it's how I usually charge my phone.

Something to think about. Just because a cable is capable of handling 100W or more, it may not be USB-3 or 4.

For example, I have a couple of Insignia USB-C PD cables rated for 240W. However, they are only USB-2 for data. I also got a 3-pack of Anker USB-C PD cables rated for 100W (pack comes with an 8ft, 6ft, and 3ft cables). Again, those are not USB-3 or 4; they are USB-2.

If you want a cable that can handle 100W or more AND supports USB-3 or later data, audio, and video, your best bet is a Thunderbolt 3 or 4 cable. Those are more expensive. A Belkin Thunderbolt 4 cable will set you back about $45ish.

I purchased an Anker 313 charger and a 100W USB type C cable off Amazon.

This charges my Samsung Galaxy tab S9+ on 45W throughout . The battery shows Super Fast Charging 2.0. However my S24 ultra starts off as 45W charging, but after a couple of minutes it drops back to Fast Charging. I am not sure if the phone is causing it to drop to slower charging but it doesnt happen on the Tab

I started charging at 17.25 and then it dropped to Fast charger at 17.27.
