note 20 5G ultra and Kodi

So about a year plus ago i was running Kodi 19.4 flawlessly when it started acting up. Yes I know that its a thing that is not even supposed to work on this phone but it did, and well now its not. It wont even load. I either launches and crashes, or it launches and just goes black. And the change the refresh rate that's all over the net doesn't work either.
I've tried rolling back to various older versions, but no love. I've also tried probably 3 different builds and versions of those builds but it all comes back to the same. Crash or black sceen.

Any suggestions and Happy New Year!

You could try uninstalling updates to Android System Webview. This wouldn't be a permanent fix, but would at least point to a recent update to ASW as the culprit.
