I'm so jealous that Im not as creative as y'all. I think my real issue is that I'm stuck on black or red backgrounds. Too much color annoys me for some reason. Lol

I love black too and have to force myself to use color. I tend to use monochromatic schemes because I'm not good at putting colors together. Give it a try!! You can always start with a solid black background and add one or two colors.

For a little while I used monochromatic backgrounds on my s5, but I didnt stick with it long. I couldn't match up the icons and date/weather widgets. I'm just weird. Lol

Black backgrounds are the best to start with! Any icon or widget would work.. Just try

You all have some creative ideas.

I can't remember if I posted this one yet? Minimalistic. I don't need weather blasted on my homescreen because I live in Phoenix and it's always sunny and hot or in the winter, sunny and warm. If I need weather I just say "OK Google". I don't need battery stats because it's in my bar at the top. I don't need time because that's there as well however, I think the circle thing looks cool. I'll probably ditch it though. I have 4 rows of tray icons that I scroll through. I hate the square shaped icons that some apps have so I make my own icons such as the phone, Outlook, Twitter, and hamburger menu shown below.Screenshot_2015-03-23-08-01-37.jpg

Changed my clock for a more minimal look.

Decided to try widget locker despite the reviews. I have found only minor bugs. I really missed having zooper on the lockscreen. I was using the default screen because I liked the colored bubbles but I hated the clock though.

I like to keep it simple. One screen with my most important apps front and center. Using nova launcher with Zooper and a power toggles widgets combo on top. Was going for a Chromebook inspired look.
